Wiki - Custom Treasure Maps

Traditionally treasure maps can only reach level 7 (Diabolical), and those could only be obtained if players were lucky while completing Level 6 ones.  We've created three new map levels beyond that and heavily customized the special drops in all levels from 6 through 10.

 

The maps, and the required skill to decode, pick and remove the traps on, are:

* Removing traps beneath Elite Level may be accomplished with the Telekinesis spell from a safe distance. Elite Level and higher Chests are too magical in nature to be effected by the spell, so only natural Remove Trap Skill will work.

Players may preview the custom treasure map drops in the LoS Display area which can be reached in Custom Locations on the World Teleporter.  The custom SOS drops are displayed in the same area.

Mining skill is used to aid in the digging up of Treasure Chests.  Depending on your skill level you can dig up a chest that is within a radius defined below.

 150+         - 12 Tiles
140-149.9 - 10 tiles
130-139.9 -   8 tiles
120-129.9 -   6 tiles
110-119.9 -   5 tiles
100-109.9 -   4 tiles
81-99.9     -   3 tiles
51-80.9     -   2 tiles
0-50.9     -  1 tile

Treasure Map Binders

Use one of these to combine Treasure Maps of similar level and facet, into maps of the next level, as follows:

12 Plain creates one Expert

10 Expert creates one Adept

6 Adept creates one Clever

6 Clever creates one Devious

4 Devious creates one Ingenious

4 Ingenious creates one Diabolical

2 Diabolical creates one Elite

2 Elite creates one Epic

2 Epic creates one Legendary

The binders have 10 Charges. A charge is consumed on the creation of each Treasure Map, and replenish at a rate of one per 11-13 hours.
